First Day in Rio de Janeiro

ROHAYHU RIO!

This morning we went to the super market to buy our breakfast that we will enjoy in our time here in Rio de Janeiro. It was a bit early, so we were all little tired, but we had a lot of fun anyways. We went with the bus all together to the stadium where Germany won against Argentina in the World Cup Final (a fact which the Germans will not let anyone forget). It is called nglfdnnd and it is neat. It is an old stadium that is renovated and now it is modern, shiny and ready for the Olympics. After that we went to the stadium were the annual carnival of Rio de Janeiro is held. We dressed up as the carnival dancers, and we looked pretty awesome. The last place we went to was the famous SUGAR LOAF (Pan de Azucar). It is a mountain that has a fabulous view of the city. It was cloudy in the beginning, but it slowly cleared up and we ended up seeing the breathtaking view of the beautiful beaches and the Christ statue, where we are going tomorrow. This night we all had some nice free time, and some people went to eat at Copacabana, while the others (us as well) went to Subway, a fast food place that you can find everywhere in the world J (Except in Paraguay). All in all, it was a great first day in the marvelous city of Rio de Janeiro.
